The Argonaut
The Argonaut is the award winning student newspaper produced by the University of Idaho Student Media in the Department of Student Involvement. Continuously in print since 1898, it was historically published twice a week during the academic year and distributed across campus and throughout Moscow, Idaho and Pullman, Washington. The Argonaut continues to publish a print edition, as well as the Argonaut online edition.
Library holdings include issues of Argonaut in print, microfilm, and digital. Bound paper copies may be used in the Special Collections reading room. Access to digital scans of issues from 1898 to 2021 are found in the Argonaut Digital Collection. The microfilm back file is located on the library's third floor. Content since Fall 2000+ may be found at the current Argonaut online edition.

Legacy Argonaut Index
An incomplete index was compiled by library staff to provide access to the microfilm collection covering 1898 to 1968-10-08 and 1981 to 1993-12-04. Only articles about the University of Idaho and its faculty, staff and students are included; International, national, state and local news items are omitted. This information is included (and enhanced) in the Argonaut Digital Collection, however, the legacy subject index can be downloaded as a spreadsheet below:
