View of the Lewis Cabin at Taylor Wilderness Research Station - 1928 and 2019

The Dave Lewis cabin, at the time of his residence and now. The vegetation around the cabin has grown, especially the Douglas Fir trees behind it. The Douglas Fir growing on the viewers right of the cabin in the historic photograph grew to match the size of its partner, the tree growing now, slightly behind the cabin. However, it was cut down in recent years. The stump is visible in the contemporary photograph.
