A man with a mule standing in the field wouldn’t be an odd sight 100 years after the historical photograph was taken. Taylor Wilderness Research Station used mules and horses into the last decade. The buck and rail fencing that surrounds the pasture still works to hold the stock that stops in carrying visitors, alumni, and friends.
