In spring 2021, the U of I Library entered into a Read and Publish agreement with the Company of Biologists.

Benefits for U of I affiliates:

• Unlimited access to the Company of Biologists’ subscription journals: Development, Journal of Cell Science, and Journal of Experimental Biology
• Free and unlimited open access publishing for all U of I authors in the Company of Biologists’ subscription journals
• U of I authors retain copyright for their open access articles and all articles are published under a CC-BY license

Requirements:

• To qualify for free open access publishing under our Read and Publish agreement with the Company of Biologists, a U of I author must be listed as the corresponding author and they must use their U of I email address (“@uidaho.edu”) throughout the entire submission process.
