Abstract: Partial differential equations can be hard to explain and even harder to solve, especially when they are nonlinear. In at least one case, however, the solution can be constructed simply, without even mentioning any pesky indices; until now, this particular problem has been notorious for its difficulties. After explaining this further, I will talk about some related open questions and ongoing work.
