Three-Room House (Site # 61)
Location: Potlatch, Idaho. 46.92523128, -116.8982834
Description: This 22’ by 22’ three-room house was constructed in 1906 at a cost of $604. In 1906, the lumber company constructed nineteen 3-room houses. Next to the bachelor quarters in the town’s boarding houses, these were the least expensive rental units. After the company sold the town in the 1950s, most of these three-room houses were either removed to make way for larger houses or extensively remodeled and enlarged.
