Description: Franklin and Mary Grimes Mix arrived in 1883 in the Kendrick-Juliaetta area and then bought a farm outside Moscow. Franklin operated a nursery that supplied trees to Moscow's East City Park. The barn was built around 1892. There were once four separate farmsteads and the present Mix house is on the site of the nursery.
