Hotel Moscow (Site # 40)

Location: Moscow, Idaho. 46.73199984, -117.0019541

Description: This hotel was built in 1891 on the site of Moscow’s first hotel, the Barton House, which burned in 1890. The hotel has impressive Romanesque arches and windows. The ground floor once had a barber shop and a cigar and candy store.

Historic image of the Moscow Hotel at the northwest corner of Fourth and Main streets. Built in 1891 by Colonel R. H. Barton. The Moscow Barber Shop was located at right of hotel entrance.
