Description:
The purpose of EM*Power (Environmental Management Power) is to provide 4-H youth (grades 6-9) with hands-on activities to gather factual information, make informed decisions about waste management concerns, and develop creative solutions including environmental restoration. The curriculum draft has two major sections, (1) Defining Issues and Action, and (2) Going Local with Issues and Actions. Each section contains three lessons. The draft curriculum also includes draft Environmental Management Power 4-H Youth Journal activities worksheets for all 6 lessons.
