- Description:
- Ina Quist Davis's handwritten picture caption in her photo album says, "Alice [Quist Davis] and me [Ina Quist Davis] near Beaver Camp Devil's Creek Hill." Note that sisters Alice Quist and Ina Quist married brothers Lydell Davis and Walter Davis, hence they have the same married names. In 1935 Alice was married, but Ina and Walt were not yet. In the picture, Alice is on the left, and Ina is on the right holding a rifle. Alice was living at the camp because her husband, Lydell Davis, was managing a group there, according to Della Davis Munnich, their daughter. Ina went for a visit when these pictures were taken.
