Goat Mountain in Payette National Forest - unknown date and 2019
The historical photograph calls this impressive peak “Mt. Napier”. In 1904, William and Annie Edwards established Edwardsburg and their son, Napier, grew to be a notorious character along the drainage. If some once called this peak “Mt. Napier”, the name didn’t stick and it is now widely known as Goat Mountain.
