Big Creek Lodge - c.1950 and 2019

Located in the community of Edwardsburg and built in 1934, the Big Creek Lodge and nearby amenities provided a place for backcountry recreationists, miners, and travelers a place to stop and rest on their way into the heart of the Idaho wilderness. The original Big Creek Lodge and gas station burned in a localized fire in October of 2008, leaving behind the general store/post office, a historic tack shed, and a duplex cabin. In 2018, a rebuilt Big Creek Lodge opened to the public, providing once more a place for backcountry pilots and recreationists to stay and eat.
