My background in English literature and environmental science averages out to something like environmental studies. My scholarship combines digital tools with traditional methods to examine environmental change in the Western U.S. — extinction, wildfire — and how it shapes, and is shaped by, human social life and power structures. As a digital project manager, I build and support digital collections in collaboration with students, faculty, and local community members.
