Manuscript Group 355
Field Station Reports, 1930-1976
3.5 cubic feet
The Bureau of Entomology and Plant Quarantine field station reports from seven northwest stations were accessioned in December 1989. They were processed by Judith Nielsen in October 1991.
This record group contains a combination of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports from Bureau of Entomology and Plant Quarantine field stations in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington spanning the years 1930 to 1976. Although a majority of the reports concern studies of pea insects such as the pea aphid and pea weevil, the Twin Falls reports also include studies of sugar beet insects. The material is arranged alphabetically by state in which the field station is located, and the reports of each station are in chronological order. Some reports are in bound volumes, others are in file folders. The reports from Kimberly and Tetonia originated as reports of the University of Idaho Research and Extension Centers.
