According to ‘Presbyterial Law and Usage’ there is no new ‘church’ at Kamiah. It has not yet been organized according to Law tho A. has ordained Elders. He does not understand Church Government.

I have to write to Dr Gunn before Robert can report his church. Only one name has been taken from Roberts church books as Mr D ordered. But do not breathe that to a living soul. Remember, let them go on working in their ignorence. Do not give them any light, to work greater hurt to the Cause. The plan is to put Silas in charge of that K church. Archie to take the Lapwai church. They are beginning on Enoch too. Watch for Jim Hines – William Wheeler helping. Get the Report Salaries of all the ministers last year from Mr D Kate and tell me, at once the amount of each, please
