Lapwai
Nov 19th 1885
Mr W. M Rankin
Dear Sir
I am very sorry my notes to you have been so hard to read. Will try & do better after
this as the children promise. On 1st of Oct. a quarters salary was due. I had
made provision for the winter in K (excepting the wood) which with the necessary expenses
of change to Lapwai makes my expenses great at this time. My long letter to Dr E
[illegible] think sufficient for the present.
Very truly yours
Kate C. McBeth
