been here in Gov. S building - almost daily collission with Agent. they were ordered to
take charge of Fort S boys. Mr E & Lucile went down. police came ordered them out of
hospital building. they came back stores & all. shortly after Select came with the
order for them to leave the Reservation. there are the Eaves, Williams & Harmins
all the Employees in this building here & the boys at the Fort without any one.
Oh! Oh! Mr E pointed to the guns behind the door. May God "cool down" his
hasty Southern temper down -- & bring good out of all this the Harmins are going to
stay a few days at Mr Ds. a few months & Mr D will go too.

Such a good Sab. S. & preaching. A away. Mr D. preached upon S. S. testament 18 of
Mathew. Mr D. has now told Elders to chose a pastor so here is the same thing over we had
last spring. Archie & Peter. A seems to have all his armies working. Oh Lord do not
have this poor people to be led to death for he is a blind leader. I would soon be
maneuvered out of S. S. & every place else. Mr E & Ruth was up to s s &
church. I gave Mr M. & Dr E. letters to show Mr E about the forbiding of telling Bible
stories in Gov. S. Oh how I do love Thy Law. Oh Lord I can truly say & do get so near

Many for Peter L as for Archie. poor Amy has not been out at church today. but We only
have to wait & watch. the Lords doing to see the proud humbled. All the Acts &
powers used & yet the Lord has shown himself above them all. for days I dropped down
any where in My house pleading for this people that the Lord would care for all for the
sake of the few. & So He has told Me He has not clean gone forever. after the terrible
year of deadness. is this the turning point. God Grant it how warped & woven this
people are in around My heart strings - how quickly Enochs votes were handed over to
Peter. Jonahs maneuvering failed. Will I ever be so afraid & troubled again & now
I would consecrate Myself anew. Praise the Lord for All His benefits to Me. Mine & to
this people. Strange it will seem in the eyes of the world this Grand Minister the left
one - all the other seven have places - & he the Son of a head Chief. Lord empty him
& fill him with Thy grace. all know now the Gentle Mr D who has been before this
people for 10 years is to leave them. What a beautiful Illustration. of the christian
Gentleman he has been. Oh but Our S S Lesson are beautiful instruments. Lord fasten the

What A Sab the first after Mr D leaving. Kamiahns Not down as was expected. they would be
on their way to Pres. Archie & Peter. Archies last sermon he had much blessing the
people. After he was done Abraham made a warm speach wanting to pay A for the Year. Cap
Kane rose made a bitter reply. let them pay him whoever wanted him & that now
there was a timash to go before Pres. to investigate Archie for Stealing (keeping back
money). perhaps it is so - congregation went out. Peter says strong times afterward.
Stamits ordered no services next Sab. none No more prayermeetings. &
Mine the only White face among these fierce bands. I cannot help but feel sorry for A. how

meantime it was nearly five OCock before prayermeeting commenced such a fear of a scene I
think in all hearts. Much Singing blessed Singing & the Spirit came. yes. how often
here My fainting heart says He is here. I Sang Tenderly the Shepheard. Abraham Jumped up

name came leaping in song. I covered My face when J M arise fearing his venom but No the
Lord had tinghed him also. Mrs Ed. & Ed. spoke also. Peter showed Wisdom in speaking
of the swords being beaten into plowshears

Going to go back to Egypt for certain this time. going to elect Chiefs. the last chief was
