Landscape crews are spraying trees with a mix of skunk scent and coyote urine. The trees look beautiful and smell fine as long as the temperature stays cool. Bring them into a 55-degree environment, and you’ll wish you hadn’t. The warmth evokes “eau de pew.” Landscape chief Charles Zillinger says the program has saved specimens from being cut since it began in 1990.
