Dr. Terry Ratcliff named Executive Director of Distance Education

Dr. Terry Ratcliff has been named the Executive Director of Distance Education. As the Executive Director, he will lead the University in an analysis of current distance education strengths, needs, and opportunities; oversee Distance and Extended Education; facilitate the development of two or three distance education (online) initiatives; and develop recommendations for an integrated University-wide approach to distance education to achieve prominence in selected disciplines and markets.
Dr. Ratcliff received his B.S. Biology from the University of Idaho in 1979, his M.Ed. in Higher and Adult Education in 1983 from Arizona State University and his Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration in 1998 from University of California, Berkeley. He works as an associate consultant for Noel-Levitz and an Independent Adult Learning Consultant. His previous experience includes Dean of School of Continuing Studies at Whitworth University, adjunct Faculty member at Capella University, and Executive Director, Center for Adult and Extended Education and Dominican University of California.
