- Title:
- Machine was built by Ott and packed twenty-four one-pound bags into a case
- Date Created (ISO Standard):
- 1960
- Description:
- Machine was built by Clifford M. Ott in his basement workshop at 836 Orchard Avenue, [Moscow, Idaho]. It was a semi-automatic machine to pack 24 one-pound cellophane bags into the case. Production of the new automatic cellophane bag machine was faster than a girl could pack them in the case. With this machine, the faster production could be handled easily. Sawyer of Los Angeles, who built the cellophane bag machine copied, with improvements, this machine and built five to operate with the cellophane bag machines at Ralston, Nebraska.
