[Photo of newspaper photo and caption]. First Convent - The nine-room house pictured above, once known as the Julia Moore home and located at the corner of D and Howard streets, served in the early years after 1908 as the original home of Ursuline Convent here. Later the house was razed and a new facilities constructed. During the past year these facilities have been razed and a new $167, 000 convent and chapel is to be constructed. The convent opened its doors in Moscow Sept. 14, 1908, and 55 years of service will be marked at a dinner at Hotel Moscow Sunday. (January 1, 1963)
