Title:
Guide to the use of hisars: A hydrologic information storage and retrieval system. Miscellaneous series no. 32
Authors:
Molnau, Myron
Date Created (ISO Standard):
1975-12
Description:
The HISARS system was implemented out of a need to have a large body of hydrologic data available for ease of access. Many people have collected information for a project. Often the finding and collection of the necessary data, even when published, takes an inordinate amount of time when compared to the necessary analysis. Since much of the hydrologic data is in published form, the real need was for an efficient storage and retrieval system. This user's guide to HISARS has been patterned after the Guide published by North Carolina State University.
