- Unmerchantable and decayed material left after logging original stand of western white pine. On this area, all hemlock and white fir were cut down after logging and the area burned broadcast. A single burn. This tract later burned over the second time and prevented satisfactory restocking. After waiting ten years for reproduction, the area was planted. Jergens [sic] Flat, Kaniksu National Forest.
