Whitewashed: Stories is a collection of short stories centering around small towns and areas. Each story targets particular issues and themes including gender, fertility, race, economic status, culture, spatiotemporal peculiarities, sexuality, and the idiosyncrasies of rural areas, whether the characters start or end up in these places. However, the overall scope and themes of the stories are very much subjective and contingent on the reader. This collection is intended to be an exploration of contemporary issues through the scope of fiction, both as an independent voice and a work in a larger societal and literary conversation.
