Description:
Copy of a typewritten letter from Crabtree to Allsworth-Jones. He said that Earl Swanson already responded to Allsworth-Jones and he hopes that they have the chance to meet each other soon while Swanson was in London. Crabtree hasn't found a great technique for accurate punch striking, but he said he uses a soft hammerstone and direct percussion to get similar results. He explained why he does this and said he said he would send an article on Corbiac blades to help determine technique. He added that he sent some of his examples to Cambridge University, as well as some made by Francois Bordes and Jacque Tixier.
