The University of Idaho Phi Delta Theta was established in 1908 after the local Kappa Phi Alpha fraternity, which was established in 1899, was contacted by the national organization.and granted a chapter. This chapter of Phi Delta Theta was only the second national fraternity on the University of Idaho campus.
