In 1924 the Gamma Eta chapter of Sigma Chi was established and their fraternity house was built. Sigma Chi eventually moved to their current residence on Nez Perce Drive and the house was later occupied by Pi Beta Phi sorority and eventually Steelhouse women's living between 2009-2012. Phi Kappa Tau fraternity has occupied this residence off and on since it's construction and are the current residents.
