People fishing in Main Street in Burke, Idaho during the Burke flood. Picture comes from a newspaper article. The article reads, "Burke is unique because of the famed street where the river, railroad, and highway are all in the same place. Because of this unusual situation early Canyon Creek floods resulted in an overflow into the street. This March 27, 1913 picture shows adventurous Burke citizens fishing a board stretched across the creek while the rampaging Canyon Creek rushes through the town."
