A view from afar of the Tainton Electrolytic Zinc Plant in Kellogg, Idaho. From the Library of Congress: "Internationally, this was the first electrolytic zinc plant to use U.C. Tainton's high current density, strong acid solution process to produce commercial quantities of Special High Grade Zinc (99.99+% pure). This product became the preferred material for the die-casting industry. It served as the standard that the other plants sought to achieve."
