Borrowing changes come to the University Library

 

Borrowing materials from the University of Idaho Library has changed. To streamline borrowing within Summit (the Orbis Cascade Alliance system), undergraduate students, staff and guests will now borrow most materials for six weeks with no renewal; faculty and graduate student loan periods are set at 120 days. Other policies apply to special materials and collections.

The new borrowing practices have been made in anticipation of the library’s new computer system, which it will share with 36 other Summit libraries throughout the Pacific Northwest. All Summit library collections are accessible through the University of Idaho Library catalog.
