Library Discontinues Subscription to McGraw Hill Digital Engineering Library

Effective January of 2010, The University of Idaho Library has discontinued its subscription to the McGraw Hill Digital Engineering Library electronic books package. The current economic climate has necessitated that the library make substantial reductions in our budget, and the decision to discontinue this service was made after careful analysis of usage statistics for our electronic resources.

The UI Library continues to offer a wide variety of electronic book packages, including Books 24x7 and NetLibrary. Access to these and other e-books can be found through our library's catalog or through our e-books page

We apologize for the short notice being given, and realize that this may cause significant inconveniences for many of our users. For instructors and faculty who were basing classes and assignments around titles available through McGraw Hill Digital Engineering Library, we have a number of options available to obtain individual titles in print or electronic form.

Please contact Ben Hunter, Head of Cataloging and Collections at bhunter@uidaho.edu or 208-885-5858 with any questions or requests for replacements.
